Program Overview

This 4 week CNA program prepare students to take the California State Certification Exam. Students will learn basic care services such as bathing, grooming, feeding and patient vitals. Classes include a combination of theory, skills lab, and clinical training.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

-Must be 18 years of age
-Complete physical exam and TB test
-Must submit NA Application
-Must pass background clearance check
-Copy of Government Issued Photo ID

-Copy of Social Security Card

-Copy of BLS CPR card 

*ACA Immunization Form

*ACA Physical Exam Form

 

E-LEARNING & INTERNET REQUIREMENTS

-Computer, Laptop, IPAD, or Cell Phone

-Reliable Internet Services 

-Camera or Webcam for Video Conference

-Microphone/Speakers for Audio connection

-Ability to login to Canvas

-Ability to join ZOOM

4 weeks (160 hours)

Hours include:

60 hours of Theory (Online)

100 hours of Clinical Training (In Person).

 

Monday- Friday Schedule

Theory Hours: 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM

Clinical Hours: 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM

(Clinical Training Sites are located in Fresno and Clovis)

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

- All Tuition and Fees paid in full. 

-All required 60 hours of Theory Training and 100 hours of Clinical Training.

-A passing grade of 70% or better on theory module tests.     

-Pass clinical evaluations with Satisfactory performances.

(Submission of application doesn't qualify as acceptance into the Nurse Assistant Program.  ALL Students MUST pass a criminal backgrou​nd check, have valid government photo ID, Social Security card, and tuition must be paid in full.)

Approval:  Ground Nurse Assistant Training Program is approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Approval Number  S-2194.  Online Nurse Assistant Training Program is approved by CDPH, Approval Number ELS 44.
